Tulong Gulong 27

“Tulong Gulong” is MediCard Foundation’s quarterly donation of wheelchairs and other assistive devices to deserving indigent beneficiaries. For its 27th gift-giving activity for this quarter, MFI has donated 13 adult wheelchairs, 1 pediatric wheelchair, 2 canes with chair, 2 walkers and 2 pairs of crutches to 20 deserving individuals. The handover ceremony was held last December 12, 2018 at the MediCard Lifestyle Center in Makati City as part of MediCard’s Christmas outreach projects.

The ceremony was witnessed by more than 130 attendees from sponsoring departments of MediCard Philippines, Merry Carolers, and relatives of the beneficiaries. The program was hosted by Ms. Rachel de Vera of Marketing Department and Ms. Elsa Caviteño of Onsite Clinic Management Department with special dance number from the employees of Provider Relations Department. 16 deserving indigent beneficiaries were screened and duly endorsed by the Create a Job for the Disabled Association, Inc.
